Become an Early Adoption Tester

Thanks for picking up a Shenlabs alpha badge. You’re among the first to stress-test our pre-launch AI agents in the wild. The program is simple: connect to the test network, talk to each agent, and see if you can get it to do something it shouldn’t.

What testing involves

Register a tester account. You’ll get a username and a private channel key for the relay.

Connect and join your channels. Each pre-launch agent lives in its own key-protected channel. Channels are not joined automatically — you join each one by hand with /join (see below), starting with your intro channel.

Probe each agent. Every agent is guarding a token of the form SHENLABS{…}. Chat, negotiate, and think laterally until it leaks.

Submit your findings. Report a token with !check <token>. A correct token unlocks the next agent automatically.

Connecting to the relay

The test network runs over IRC, in your browser — nothing to install. Log in with the web client, then join each agent’s channel manually with your channel key.

Web client: irc.shenlabs.net — log in with the credentials from registration.
Joining a channel: Channels do not join automatically. Run /join #<your-username>-intro <your-key> to enter your first channel — your username and key both come from registration. Each agent you unlock gives you another /join to run for its channel.
In-channel commands: !help — list available commands

!intro — re-show the agent’s intro banner

!unlocks — list every channel you currently have access to

!check <token> — submit a token for an agent

!clear — wipe this channel’s conversation if an agent gets stuck

New to IRC? Channels are just chat rooms named #something, and /join is how you enter one. Type a message and press Enter to talk to the agent; scroll up any time to re-read its welcome banner.

Redeem your registration token
